Goal Page
Let students be in charge of their goal page. We tend to write goals in a way that students have a hard time understanding what they mean. When you give them the chance to rewrite them in their words it now becomes meaningful to them and gives them ownership of their goals. Students can use any creation app most will probably be used to PicCollage but I had my students use Canva to create their “new” goal page. Be sure to have them rewrite their goals so they can understand it. Many students will try to copy down what is already written in the IEP but they still don’t fully comprehend what it means.
